Origin and Vision
Founded by Francesca Beretta in 2022, The Nour was born from the fascination with contrasts — between light and obscurity, structure and decay, freedom and identity.
What began as an instinctive search for meaning evolved into a language of form: garments that translate emotions, memories, and fragments of self into tangible pieces.
In Arabic, Nour means light. But within the brand, light is not purity — it’s revelation. It is the moment something hidden finally emerges from the dark. Each collection is a reflection of that passage: the crossing between inner turmoil and serenity, between who we are and who we are becoming.
The Nour is not about perfection, but presence. It explores how clothing can hold memory, how a silhouette can embody transformation, and how beauty often exists in tension.
" The Nour was born from the tension between what is seen and what remains hidden. Between the need to define ourselves and the desire to be free. Each garment becomes a passage, from darkness to light, from silence to recognition."
Ethos and Creation
Every piece is designed and produced in Italy, guided by a process that values consciousness, time, and experimentation.
The collections are born from both study and instinct — the tactile act of creating becomes a ritual, balancing material and emotion, precision and chaos.
Through this ongoing research, The Nour remains a space of reflection — a reminder that identity is not fixed, but ever-shifting.
A light that doesn’t blind, but reveals.
